By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Separate or additional purchasing terms may apply to NHS organisations, healthcare providers and other business customers where these are agreed as part of a quotation, purchase order or supply arrangement.

3. Products

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.

Colours, packaging and appearance may vary slightly from photographs shown on screen.

Manufacturers may occasionally change packaging, specifications or product appearance without notice, provided this does not materially affect the product supplied.

All products are subject to availability.

Veliro Medical Supplies does not normally receive or store your complete payment-card details.

For NHS organisations and approved business customers, alternative payment arrangements, including purchase orders or invoicing, may be agreed separately.

8. Delivery

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom.

Available delivery options and charges will be displayed during checkout where applicable.

Any delivery dates or times provided are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

We aim to deliver orders within the times indicated on our website. Consumer orders will normally be delivered within 30 days unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you.

If an item becomes unavailable or is subject to an extended lead time, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Please ensure that the delivery address supplied when ordering is complete and accurate.

9. Risk and Ownership

Responsibility for consumer goods normally passes to you when the goods are delivered into your physical possession or to a person identified by you to receive them.

Ownership of goods will not pass until we have received payment in full, except where different terms have been agreed with a business or NHS customer.

10. Consumer Right to Cancel

If you purchase products from us online as a consumer, you will normally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.

For most goods, you may tell us that you wish to cancel at any time from placing the order until 14 days after you receive the goods.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you should normally return the goods within a further 14 days.

11. Returning Cancelled Orders

Unless an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or we have agreed otherwise, you will normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning it.

You must take reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.

You may inspect goods in the way you would reasonably be able to inspect them in a shop.

We may make an appropriate deduction from a refund where handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has reduced the value of the goods, where permitted by law.

Where possible, products should be returned complete and in their original packaging.

12. Hygiene Products

Certain sealed goods may not be eligible for cancellation and return once their protective seal or packaging has been opened where they are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons.

This may apply to certain earplugs and other personal-use or hygiene-sensitive products.

Where the statutory hygiene exemption does not apply, your normal consumer cancellation rights remain unaffected.

The hygiene exemption does not remove your legal rights where an item is faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrectly described or incorrectly supplied.

13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

14. Refunds

Approved refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

For a valid consumer cancellation, refunds will be made in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Where required, we will also refund the cost of our standard delivery option. Additional charges for an upgraded or premium delivery service may not be refundable beyond the cost of standard delivery.

Refunds relating to valid cancellations will normally be processed within the statutory time limits.

15. NHS, Healthcare and Business Orders

Orders made by NHS organisations, healthcare providers, care organisations or other businesses are treated as business purchases rather than consumer purchases.

Consumer cancellation rights do not generally apply to these purchases.

Pricing, payment, delivery, minimum order quantities, returns and other arrangements may instead be governed by:

• A quotation supplied by Veliro Medical Supplies

• An accepted purchase order

• Agreed account terms

• A supply agreement

• Other terms expressly agreed between the parties

Where there is a conflict between these website Terms & Conditions and specific written terms agreed for an NHS or business order, the specifically agreed terms will take precedence to the extent of that conflict.

16. Quotations

Unless stated otherwise, quotations are provided subject to product availability and may be withdrawn or amended before an order is accepted.

Prices, lead times and delivery arrangements contained in quotations are based on the information available when the quotation is issued.

A quotation does not itself oblige Veliro Medical Supplies to supply goods until an order has been accepted.

17. Purchase Orders

Where we agree to accept a purchase order from an NHS organisation or business customer, the order will be subject to any terms specifically agreed between Veliro Medical Supplies and the customer.

The submission of a purchase order does not automatically constitute acceptance by Veliro Medical Supplies.

18. Product Availability

All orders are subject to availability.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we may:

• Contact you regarding an alternative

• Offer a revised delivery date

• Cancel the affected product and issue an appropriate refund

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

19. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations where caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include courier disruption, severe weather, transport disruption, supplier shortages, industrial action, utility or communications failure, natural disasters or other events outside our reasonable control.

This does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

20. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

In particular, nothing excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

For business and NHS customers, our liability may additionally be governed by separately agreed contractual or supply terms.
